Swansea City is looking forward to securing a loan contract for Malick Yalcouye.

Albion has made it clear all summer that Yalcouye will borrow another season with Sturm Graz after his impressive year.

He looked light and employed in Marbella in the pre-season and had a few season in the Amex in the 2-1 win against Wolfsburg on Saturday against Wolfsburg.

After the victory against Crawley, Swansea boss Alan Shehan said: “Hopefully we can complete the lending business this week and it will be good to have Malick in the building.

“He is a player who will improve us. He has so much energy and is rated very high.”

Albion would like to see how Yalcouye achieved the kind of progress in the championship that was part of the development of players like Ben White, Yasin Ayari and Jan Paul van Hecke in the last seasons.

Carl Rushworth had an impressive loan at Swansea two years ago.
