Graham Alexander says his Bradford City team “went” Rovers from the first whistle and received her reward with two fast goals.
Alexander welcomed the quality of his team in the first 45 minutes and felt that after the break they showed a different side than their game.

The Bantam’s boss was impressed by the “character” after Dion de Neves’ goal of seeing the draw and earning a place in the second round.
“Great start for us, the boys went in Blackburn, scored two really good goals from our point of view and played a really good football in the first half,” he said the club channels.
“We were in possession of it, changed the game, we were much better in possession than on Saturday.
“We spoke to the players and the feeling that we did not live up against Northampton, but we did it this evening.
“Disappointing with them that are achieved shortly before half -time, but then it becomes a question of mentality.

“The personality and character of this group of players are great and I’m happy about the victory, pleased with the followers.
“I am really proud of her because it was a hard game against a really good opponent, and none of them canceled the challenge. It was great to see.”
Rovers saw much of the ball in the second half, but Bradford made it difficult to get out chances in the last third, and Alexander was satisfied with his team’s “resilience” to protect their leadership.
“I thought they were really well edited and the second [goal] Was out of the press that we talked about before the game, ”he added.

“The first was really well edited and a brilliant finish from Ibou on the long contribution. It was a great beginning for us and I thought it was settled and gave us confidence in the possession.
“We not only tried to force the problem a few times that we turned out and went to the other side. In this first and second half there was a lot of good football, we had to show a different side – the resilience, belonging together, working morality.
“There were a few times in which they break us and have six players nearby within five seconds. The resistance in the heads and hearts of the players can be seen brilliantly.”
