by An Easyjet flight captain was suspended until after an examination after claiming that he was hiked naked by an omnipresent drinking session at the end.
The pilot, which was not named, was seen on the last Tuesday without clothing in the reception of a five-star hotel on the island of the Atlantic Resort Cape Verde.
According to the sun, which the story reported for the first time, the captain had drunk at the bar of Meliá Dunas Beach Resort and Spa since the evening before. It quoted witnesses who claimed to stumble the man in a “paralyzing” state.
According to reports, he reported all of his clothes at 2.30 a.m. and went to the reception area before moving to the gym and the spa.
The man was from Cape Verde to Gatwick to Gatwick last Wednesday. After the incident in the hotel, he was grounded by the airline and a replacement pilot was convened.
An Easyjet source told the sun: “Anyone who saw the pilot naked in the early morning in front of a flight would not dream of climbing an airplane with him.”
An Easyjet spokesman said: “As soon as we were made aware, the pilot was immediately rejected with our interventions. The security of our passengers and the crew has the highest priority of Easyjet.”
Easyjet’s flights from Gatwick to Cape Verde are the longest from England with 2,332 nautical miles, with the trip lasting about six hours.
