5 Heat shaft skin care tips for a radiant, make-up-free glow

When the temperatures rise, the usual skin care advice still applies, from the hardworking repetition of sunscreen to the protection of your skin from harmful UV rays. However, if the foundation and concealer are completely off the table, it is the finer details that make the biggest difference, regardless of whether they keep a healthy, radiant glow or produce from scratch.

Since there is nothing better than the feeling of a fresh summer breeze on the bare skin, we have five experts approved skin care tips by dermatologist Dr. Derrick Phillips put together to help them maintain a damp, shiny complexion during the heat wave this week.

1/ Integrate moisture into your skin care regime

It is no secret that dehydration influences your skin and that drinking water is an essential component for both your well -being and your complexion during warmer periods. However, there are other things that you can do to combat these drying effects.

“Dehydration is frequent skin care for heat waves, since blood vessels expand and water is quickly lost from the skin surface,” says dermatologist Dr. Derrick Phillips. “In order to avoid dehydration and keep it hydrated and shining, it can help to include fumzanties such as hyaluronic acid in your skin care regimen. It not only keeps the skin moist, but also helps him to keep the liquid intake.”

2/ apply a light SPF50 serum

According to Phillips, many people fall into the trap of stem during a heat wave, and strive to remove sweat, sunscreen and excess oil.

“While cleaning is important to prevent yourself in the pores, trigger the outbreaks, you can remove the natural oils of the skin and make it dry, narrow and susceptible to irritation,” he says.
